2011 Christmas Mini Sneak Peek!

Below are a couple of sneak peeks from our Christmas mini sessions!  I love love love how these sessions are turning out!  If you haven’t already booked a date/time with us… you should!  We will be holding our next round of Christmas/Holiday minis Sat. & Sun., November 12th & 13th!  You can give us a call at 409-617-3515 or email at llmphotography@aim.com for more information or to book!!

This first set features Miss Grace and her baby brother Korbin!!  What cutie pies these two are!!!  They were both full of personality and smiles!! Miss Grace is a natural little model!  You barely had to give her any direction and she was right on track with what I requested of her!!  Little Korbin did so well!  I couldn’t believe I was able to get such amazing photographs of him.  Usually with 1 yr olds that feat is almost always impossible! Haha

The second set features the McArthur family:  Frank, Tiffany, and baby Tripp!!  I am so in love with this session as well!  Even though the mosquitoes were fierce… baby Tripp (drenched in bug spray) was a real trooper!  4 mths old and he did not let out one little fuss or cry!  He even let me stuff him into that little basket all the while staying in great spirits!! Haha  Love love love the photos of Tripps mommy and daddy!!  Mommy is a natural beauty! I don’t thing could even be capable of taking a bad photograph! (:
Tiffany… I still want you to teach me to try a scarf! Lol

Hurry and book your holiday session TODAY!!!  We only have a few appointments remaining!

Hugs,
Tifanie

The Garretts

Below is a sneak peek from The Garrets session this afternoon!  We took several shots outside their home & then a few random shots of the boys and puppies inside.

Here are a few of the outside shots we took!  These boys are so silly!! haha

Here are a few of the random indoor shots I mentioned…

Love this shots of Alex and Liam caught in a candid moment... boys being boys! (:  Aren't the pugs Sam and Diesel adorable!?!  You couldn't even imagine the challenge it was to get them to be still for a photo! haha They were just as rambunctious as the boys! hehe   Here is a quick shot of their "mommy" attempting to bribe them (the pugs) to be still for a photo:

I love candid photos the best!!  Posed photos have their place, but… there is nothing like a photo catching a child in a random everyday act to freeze in time to treasure for always…

Liam is copying his mommy in the top photo on the left!  He has a doggy treat and is pleading with the puppy to sit… promising him a treat IF he cooperates! Haha  Next, Alex is plopped down on his super cool boat bed… just hanging out!  In the middle I snapped a photo of Liam and his best buddy Batman chillin’ in his bedroom.  The bottom photo on the left shows Liam playing with his awesome super hero figure!  He couldn’t wait for the shoot to be over so he could show me his collection!!  Lastly, is a photograph of Alex and a lizard he and his dad caught while in their backyard during ou shoot!

I love how these photos came out!! I hope you enjoyed viewing them as well!

2011 Christmas Mini Information!!

4 Christmases!!

I read a little quote in a magazine a long time ago.  I’m thinking I must have been in my early 20’s at the time.  Because I know it was before the days of having my own children.  At the time the quote sounded so meaningless & absurd as time seemed to drag on and on back then... However, for some reason it stuck in my head all these years.  It went something like this:

“The days are long, but the years are short.”

Now since having children of my own and getting closer to the big 40, the quote now makes perfect sense. It seems like just yesterday I was a child living with my parents.  Some days when I find myself daydreaming, I have flashbacks of being in high school and memories of fun times with my friends come to mind.  Only to fade back into reality to realize that I have been out of high school for almost 20 years!!  It is so crazy how life just passed in a blink of an eye.
This particular quote popped up again just the other day after I was editing my kiddos 2011 Christmas photos.  I decided to make a collage of the past 4 yrs of Christmas photos.  After I was done, all I could do was just sit and stare at the collage of images… where in the world had the time gone came to mind.  What happened to my babies?  Could time really be flying by that fast?  Our oldest is almost 10 and I realized how possible little time we have left with her… college is only a little more than 8 yrs away!  Our middle daughter is almost 8 and will be going into the 3rd grade.  I remember JUST taking her to Kindergarten round up & how frighten she was. She didn’t want to let go of my hand.  Now, on the 1st day of school she bounces right into her classroom like a big girl.  Oh, and did our baby just start Kindergarten?  Where did our days of watching Wonder Pets and going to library day on Wednesday go?  It saddens my heart at how fast the time is flying by.  However, in turn it is such a blessing to see them growing, being healthy, and finding their places in this world.
Anyway… I could go on and on… However, typing this makes me want to run to them and spend every last second I can before they decide they are “too big” for Mommy’s attention and snuggles! (:
The days can sometimes seem to go on forever.  It can be nerve racking to be a parent.  Some days I feel as though I could just pull my hair out! Haha  However, we only get one shot at this life… so why not make the best out of it that we can.  One things is sure… these little ones won’t be babies forever.  The years are quickly slipping away… in the blink of an eye.  “The days are long, but the years are short.”
Here are the newest Christmas photos I just took!  I’ve included the collage I mentioned as well.

Daddy and Me Session!!

I met up with Miss Avery and her daddy yesterday afternoon for a Daddy and Me session!  I haven’t seen Miss Avery since we was a newborn!!  Wow!  I couldn’t believe how much this little miss had changed!
Boy, was she full of energy!  She was bouncing around everywhere… exploring every nook and cranny! Haha  I was getting tired just watching her.  What I would give to have that kind of energy level! Haha
Brandon, it was great to see you again!  Shelley, it was a pleasure to meet you.  Thanks sooooo much for thinking ahead and bringing the bubble machine! Haha
I hope you all enjoy the photographs!  BTW, for those of you who do not know Miss Avery, I included an image from her newborn session!!  What a little doll!

Hugs,
Tifanie

The Duplechains

Yesterday afternoon my oldest daughter and I met up with the Duplechains!   They are about to celebrate their 2 year anniversary and decided to schedule a photo session.  What an ideal afternoon for a photo session!  The weather was pleasant and cool with a slight breeze.  However, I suppose it wouldn’t be Southeast Texas if we weren’t engulfed in mosquitoes, right??  Haha  After stopping at one remote location for a few super QUICK photos, we realized we were surround by the nasty blood thirsty mosquitoes from Hades.  So, one quick stop to the Dollar Store for OFF and we were on to our next location!!
We met Nicole several weeks back when my younger daughter was hospitalized with pneumonia.  Nicole is the PERFECT example of your dream nurse!  Not only did she do her regular nursing duties, but she went over and beyond to make my very shy 7 year old feel at home.  Each day my daughter looked forward to “Nurse Nicole’s” shift.  Nicole always came in with a big smile and a bubbling personality!!  We love us some Nurse Nicole!!
Justin it was great to meet you!  You guys make a perfect pair!!  I hope the two of you have a wonderful 2nd anniversary & enjoy the photographs!  Thanks so much for allowing me to capture this milestone in your life.  May you both be blessed and enjoy a great life together!

Love you guys,
Tifanie
